I split mine by stone, then add a tiny results section under each one. It makes the notes searchable without losing the lived experience.
Number the pages and keep one running index at the back. Do not sort it perfectly while you write; just add the page number and clean it up monthly.
Rosemary is a great bridge here. The herb guide is helpful when you want substitutions.
Purpose, date, moon phase, ingredients, wording, energy before and after, and a follow-up date. I also add a notes line for mundane actions.
I am comparing my energy notes to the moon phase guide so I can stop guessing what works for me.
