Samhain Soul Cakes

Purpose Ancestor remembrance, offering, and seasonal reflection.
Timing Samhain, October 31.
Ingredients

  • Raisins or currants
  • Cinnamon
  • Small offering plate
Steps
  1. Bake small round cakes or cookies.

Yule Wassail

Purpose Warmth, blessing, protection, and returning light.
Timing Yule or the winter solstice.

  • Cinnamon
  • Cloves
  • Star anise
Steps
  1. Warm ingredients gently.
  2. Stir clockwise for blessing.
  3. Serve while naming one light you are carrying forward.

Imbolc Oat Bannock

Purpose Renewal, hearth blessing, and early-spring hope.
Timing Imbolc, February 1 or 2.

  • Oats
  • Flour
  • Butter or oil
  • Milk or plant milk
  • Honey
Steps
  1. Make a simple oat bread or bannock.
  2. Mark the top with a cross or sun shape.
  3. Eat with honey while naming what is waking up.

Ostara Honey Cakes

Purpose Balance, sweetness, growth, and spring beginnings.
Timing Ostara or the spring equinox.
Ingredients
  • Small cakes or muffins
  • Honey
  • Lemon zest
  • Edible flowers if safe

Beltane Flower Cordial

Purpose Joy, attraction, creativity, and celebration.

  • Water

  2. Steep and strain carefully.

Litha Sun Tea

Purpose Solar energy, confidence, gratitude, and vitality.
Timing Litha or the summer solstice.
Ingredients
  • Tea bags
  • Citrus
  • Mint
  • Covered glass jar
Steps
  1. Steep tea safely in sunlight for a short period or brew hot and cool.
  2. Add citrus and mint.
  3. Drink while naming what is flourishing.

Lammas Herb Bread

Purpose First harvest, gratitude, skill, and household blessing.
Timing Lammas or Lughnasadh, August 1.
Ingredients
  • Bread dough
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • Butter or oil
  • Pinch of salt
Steps
  1. Knead gratitude into the dough.

Mabon Apple Crumble

Purpose Balance, harvest gratitude, home blessing, and release.
Timing Mabon or the autumn equinox.
