    I want an index I will actually maintain. Has anyone found a low-effort system for finding spell logs, herb notes, and seasonal pages again?

    Number the pages and keep one running index at the back. Do not sort it perfectly while you write; just add the page number and clean it up monthly.

    Color tabs help me more than categories. Green for herbs, purple for tarot, silver for moon notes, and plain pages for everything else.
